All the money you collect stays secure in your account until you decide to withdraw it. This article walks you through your withdrawal options, how to link your bank account, and what to expect in terms of timing.
Link Your Bank Account
Before you can withdraw anything, you'll need to add a U.S. checking account to your account.
- From your profile, select Withdrawal Settings.
- Click Link withdrawal account.
- Enter your two-factor authentication code when prompted.
- Use Stripe Link to log in with your bank's online credentials (or choose a previously saved account).
- Click Save.
Make sure you enter your bank information correctly; we can't recover funds sent to the wrong account. We suggest making a small test withdrawal first to confirm everything's set up right.
Withdraw to Your Bank Account
You can start a withdrawal from your Payment Page dashboard or from the Manage view of any Payment Page.
From Manage:
- Choose Transfer to your bank.
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
- Select your bank account.
- Choose Transfer to Bank.
From the Payment Pages tab:
- Click the Transfer button.
- You'll see all your available balances. Choose which you want to withdraw.
- Choose Transfer to bank.
- Enter the withdrawal amount and select the account where you want the funds sent.
- Click Review and transfer.
- Click the final Transfer button.
You'll get a confirmation email instantly. You can also view your withdrawal history any time by going to Manage > Balance Summary.
Your profile information and identity verification needs to be complete before you can withdraw.
How long does withdrawal take?
Several factors affect how quickly your money shows up. Here's the full picture:
Payment processing:
- Credit card payments: 1-2 business days
- eChecks (electronic checks): Up to 5 business days
Status in your account:
- Payments first show as "pending" in Manage view
- Once processed, they change to "cleared" and are ready to withdraw
Withdrawal to your bank:
- Standard withdrawal: 1-3 business days after you initiate it
Account reviews and holds
We conduct reviews of account and transaction activity at various times, including when you request a withdrawal. These reviews may result in:
- Delayed, blocked, or canceled transfers
- Funds being applied to a negative account balance or used to offset losses specific to your account
- Account suspension or termination
