Make shopping easier by adding images to your items with variations in SignUpGenius Payments. Whether you're selling spirit wear, event merchandise or fundraiser products, images help shoppers see exactly what they're purchasing.
You can add a photo to each variation of an item, making it easy to show different colors, styles or other product options.
Add Images to Item Variations
- Log in to your SignUpGenius account and open your payment page.
- Navigate to Build > Items.
- Select an existing Item with Variations or click Add Item and choose Item with Variations to create a new one.
- Enter your item name and create your variations, such as size, color or material.
- Once you've added your variation options, locate the table displaying each available combination.
- Add a photo to the appropriate variation using its image field.
- Complete any additional fields, including the required price and optional quantity or SKU.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Repeat the process for each variation you want to display with a unique image.
Image Size and Format
For the best results, follow these image guidelines:
- Recommended size: 360 x 360 pixels.
- Supported formats: JPG or PNG.
- Display: Images may be cropped to 225 x 225 pixels depending on the device.
Use clear, well-lit product photos with consistent backgrounds to give your payment page a professional look.
Preview Your Item Images
Before publishing, click Preview to see how your items appear to shoppers. Check that each image matches the correct variation, especially if you're selling products in multiple colors or designs.
Genius Tip: You can also add a general item photo and description to give shoppers an overview of the product. Use variation-specific images to show the differences between individual options.
